“Ask A Journalist” Office Hours
During each "Ask a Journalist" session, one of our Editors in Residence will live-edit a few drafts of op-eds or pitches and will answer your questions in real-time. Please submit both a pitch and a draft for your op-ed idea via the form below if you would like your work to be considered - and so we can best support you in getting your ideas out into the world!
Drafts and pitches must be submitted by Thursday at 8:00 am ET to be considered for that day’s session.
Submitting your work does not guarantee that your work will be selected. You will get extremely valuable insights into how a professional editor/journalist works and thinks that will be immediately applicable, whether or not your draft is selected.
