PROGRAM OPTIONS
We deliver programs for our partners across the nation and globe - everything from keynotes to large group experiences to daylong workshops to multi-year fellowships. Cost depends on a variety of factors, including frequency and length of program, number of participants, and type of organization or institution (we work on a sliding scale).

CORE WORKSHOP: "Write To Change The World” is a discovery-based interrogation of authority and knowledge, that walks participants through a method for changing hearts and minds, connects them to a network of journalist mentors, and results in them publishing op-eds (if they wish).
We explore the source of credibility; the patterns and elements of persuasion; the difference between being “right” and being effective; how to preach beyond the choir; and how to think bigger about what you know—to have more impact in the world.
It is open to the public, 100% virtual, and typically takes place over two half days.
ADVANCED WORKSHOP: “Connection: Accelerating Ideas” is a sequel to our core "Write to Change the World" workshop, is for alums of the core workshop and Public Voices Fellowship only. Based on our flagship fellowship curriculum and offered rarely to the public, it focuses on connecting people and ideas across time, space, expertise and identity - and on accelerating our ideas by investing in the diversity of our knowledge sets. It is designed to make us more strategic and intelligent - both as individuals and as a collective.
Participants emerge with tools to generate new ideas; tactics for being timely at any time; an outline for a draft op-ed (on an idea only you can write, but might never have thought of before); and a global network of diverse peers amongst whom you have the potential to increase your impact and our intelligence. This highly energetic and interactive workshop culminates in the entire group writing an op-ed together - an exercise in collaborative action.

For groups of 10+ people
For groups of 10+ people that want to experience our core “Write to Change the World” or our advanced “Connection: Accelerating Ideas” workshops with maximum flexibility, we recommend purchasing a group of seats in our public workshops. This allows for greatest flexibility (many time/date options), as well as a highly dynamic experience (because of the enormous diversity of expertise in our public workshops). It is also the most economical option. Price depends on volume: 10 seats is $4,500 ($450/seat); 20 seats is $8,500 ($425/seat); 30 seats is $12,000 ($400/seat), 40 seats is $15,000 ($375/seat), etc.
Groups with fewer than 10 people are welcome to register on our website here.

For groups of 30+ people looking for a custom experience exclusively for their group
For those looking to offer a workshop experience exclusively for their community (faculty, leadership, grantees, students, etc.), we recommend hosting a private “Write to Change the World” workshop. We have both virtual and in-person formats. Virtual workshops require a minimum of 30 people. In-person workshops require a minimum of 15 people. Cost ranges from $16K to $30K depending on format, duration, and number of participants (avg. $330-$550/person). All participants who complete the workshop receive a month of access to our journalist mentors for individual follow-up.
Our advanced workshop “Connection: Accelerating Ideas” is also available for participants who completed “Write to Change the World.” This is an excellent way to facilitate connection and community-building within a group!

Institutional partnerships looking for long-term impact
For institutions that are looking to invest in maximum impact and long-term change, our Public Voices Fellowship has a track record of stunning results over many years. Each Fellowship convenes a unique cohort of ~20 highest-caliber thinkers, who are paired with dedicated journalist coaches and engage in a globally recognized leadership curriculum and training over the course of a year. The Fellowship investment is $7.5K per fellow with a minimum of 20 fellows ($155K minimum). More info here.

For groups of 100+ people
Includes seats in public workshops plus customized follow-up optionsThrough our Story Campaign initiative, we serve and elevate a large group of voices, or viewpoints, within a concentrated time frame. Story Campaigns focus on elevating voices that are timely, vital and need to be heard. Typically, Story Campaigns focus on elevating a significant number of voices in a community that may not be geographically located in one place, or linked by a single organization, or able to convene at a single time. Story Campaigns are a highly effective way to amplify a mission, cause or organization through the voices of the community (rather than through a central spokesperson).

Interactive talk by Katie Orenstein, OpEd Project Founder & CEO
Virtual or in person: recommended for 50-1000 people
Duration: 60 or 90 minutes (two options)Led by our founder and CEO, this interactive keynote workshop is a live experiment, best for groups of 100+, in which we explore how credibility works and how ideas and individuals rise. It presents data on the demographics of public discourse and the ecosystem of ideas, and addresses core questions of thought leadership: what do we know, why does it matter, and how can we maximize our impact? Participants will walk away with bold ideas, a deeper sense of what they as well as their colleagues know and stand for, and actionable steps. A good introduction to The OpEd Project for large organizations and companies.
