GROUP RATES FOR PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
For groups of 10+ people

 

For groups of 10+ people that want to experience our “Write to Change the World” workshop with maximum flexibility, we recommend purchasing a group of seats in our public workshops. This allows for greatest flexibility (many time/date options), as well as a highly dynamic experience (because of the enormous diversity of expertise in our public workshops). It is also the most economical option.

Price depends on volume:

  • 10 seats: $4,500 ($450/seat)

  • 20 seats: $8,500 ($425/seat)

  • 30 seats: $12,000 ($400/seat)

  • 40 seats: $15,000 ($375/seat)

Groups with fewer than 10 people are welcome to register on our website here.

Participants leave with an outline of an op-ed in hand, and access to our national network of journalist mentors for individual follow up (which doubles their chances of successful publication).

Other ways to partnet with us

  • You select the number of seats you’d like to purchase and complete payment upfront. We issue a custom registration code with that number of uses. Participants apply the code when registering for any public workshop, and their registration is fully covered (no credit card needed and no administrative burden on your team to process individual registrations).

  • Participants can use the code to register for any eligible public workshop listed on our website. We typically list workshops 6–9 months in advance, and new dates are added on a rolling basis.

  • Your designated people have a one-month registration window after the group rate is activated to claim their seat by registering for a workshop. They can register for any workshop date listed on our website. Because workshops are published on a rolling basis, this effectively gives participants a broad window (often up to ~12 months) to choose a date that works for them.

  • A dedicated OpEd Project staff member manages all group partnerships and will be your main point of contact for planning and any questions. You’ll receive a monthly summary showing:

    • Who has already attended

    • Who is registered for upcoming workshops

    • How many seats remain

  • Group rates are a great fit when flexibility and accessibility matter most:

    • Flexible scheduling: Participants choose dates that work for them (we host ~3 workshops per month).

    • Diverse perspectives: Public workshops bring together leaders from across sectors and regions, creating a rich “lab of the public” for testing ideas and getting feedback.

    • Cost-effective: Group rates are the most affordable way to offer high-quality training to multiple participants.

    • Lower lift for partners: No need to coordinate a single date or manage logistics for a private session.

  • If you’re interested but have fewer than 10 participants, reach out and we’ll talk through the best option for your team.

  • Seats are intended to be used within the registration window. We recommend identifying participants early and sharing the registration code soon after purchase to maximize participation. Your OpEd Project point of contact can help you strategize to ensure strong uptake.

  • Yes! If there’s strong interest, additional seats can be added to your group package at any time, subject to availability.
