PROGRAM MANAGER, FELLOWSHIPS

PRINCELLA TALLEY is Program Manager, Fellowships at the OpEd Project. As an entertainment journalist with over 15 years of experience, she has written television and radio scripts for Fortune 500 companies and globally recognized brands, led successful Grammy campaigns, and worked as an Arts and Entertainment columnist for CBS Las Vegas. Additionally, she has worked as an editor and journalist for publications in the United States, South America, and throughout the Caribbean islands where she has conducted high-profile interviews with authors, musicians, and filmmakers.

Princella’s op-eds have been published by In These Times, BET, and Ms. Magazine. She is also a 2020 Public Voices Fellow of The OpEd Project and Yale Program on Climate Change Communication. During the course of her fellowship year, her op-ed pieces and commentary were published in Grist, The Hill, Zora, World War Zero, The Urbanist, The Progressive, The Sacramento Bee, Quad City Times, Hawaii Tribune Herald, Killeen Daily Herald, The Chronicle, Herald News, Bangor Daily News, Merced Sun-Star, Times Herald-Record (Catskills Edition), Newsbug, and the Marietta Daily Journal.

Princella joined the OpEd Project Team because she is excited by the OEP’s work that helps people of all backgrounds share their voice and ideas with the world by tapping into the power of the written word.

In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her dogs, musical theater, indie films, and capturing candid photography shots.
