PERSEPHONE YOUNG

SPECIALIST, EQUITY & ACCess

PERSEPHONE YOUNG (they/them), raised on St. Croix (Arawak: Ay Ay), is a Social Architect and Facilitator, consulting and creating independently through their practice, The Constellation. A writer and maker, Seph blends a wide range of skills and practices to support communities as they create transformative, generative projects, programs, and spaces reflective of their specific needs, values, and strengths. They work with and for The People to steward their healing, development, and self-determination, and Seph’s intention is to love us all as joyfully, skillfully, and fiercely as possible.

Seph has a dual A.B. from Brown University in Human Development and Psychology, and a M.A. from New York University in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy and are a self- and journal-published and awarded poet and social researcher.

In their free time, Seph is probably daydreaming, reading about astrophysics or epic fantasy worlds, playing video games, being crafty, or looking at the sky. If they had any intention of growing up, they’d want to be the Moon.
